Does Slimaco price inquiries or read technical drawings?
No. The process engineer does the pricing. The agent collects data from the inquiry text, finds similar orders and their history and flags gaps, so the engineer has everything in one place.
How does Slimaco keep procedure versions under control?
Company knowledge holds one current version of each procedure. The area owner approves changes, and knowledge has versions and change history. Once approved, the new version applies in answers and in agents’ work.
Is customer and project documentation safe?
Yes. Permissions work at document level, knowledge is stored in the EU, and model providers do not use the data for training.
Will it help with audits and quality complaints?
Yes. The agent matches questionnaire items to procedures and certificates, and for a complaint it finds similar nonconformities and corrective actions and prepares a draft 8D report. The quality manager approves the whole thing.
Where do we start?
With the inquiry sheet for the process engineer. We measure the time from inquiry to quote and the number of inquiries an engineer handles per week.
