1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to work properly and provide information about how it is used.
2. Types of cookies we use
Necessary cookies
Required for the basic operation of the website; they do not require consent. They include the record of your choice in the consent banner (slimaco_consent, in browser storage, for 12 months).
After you sign in to the Slimaco AI application, we also use cookies and browser storage necessary for signing in and keeping the session: a session identifier (up to 10 hours of inactivity), short-lived sign-in process cookies (2–10 minutes) and — if you choose “remember me” — a cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Browser storage also keeps interface settings, a draft of an unsent message and the return state after connecting an account. None of these is used for analytics or advertising.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). It helps us understand how visitors use the website, e.g. how many visits there are, where traffic comes from and how many forms were sent. Cookies _ga and _ga_*, stored for up to 2 years. Set only after consent is given.
Marketing cookies
Used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to show ads to people who have visited the website. Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag and Meta Pixel may use them if we run campaigns on these services. Set only after consent is given.
3. Managing cookies
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings and in the cookie settings on the website (the “Cookie settings” link is also in the website footer). You can withdraw your consent at any time. Disabling some cookies may affect how the website works.
4. Third-party cookies
Some third-party services integrated with the website may also use their own cookies. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies. Data collected by Google, LinkedIn and Meta tools may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to the USA, on the basis of a European Commission decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses. 5. Legal basis
The use of necessary cookies is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the controller’s legitimate interest); analytics and marketing cookies are set on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) in accordance with the Polish Electronic Communications Law in force since November 2024.
